Notes about this app poster:
I like that they brought their accent color into the poster. They didn't try to stick it into the background but instead used it for little pieces, like the location symbols and some text.
The app icon isn't overwhelmingly large. They don't draw a lot of attention to it anywhere. It's about the size it would be on your phone.
They don't use mockups for everything, only the first few screens. Everything else is pulled out, whether it be individual elements or full screens.
To show an extending screen without animation, they extended the screen past the mockup and added transparency gradient.
The intro doesn't have to be the first thing on the page. They put that second.
Group similar screens together. The orientation of the screens provides interest in not-so-interesting screen views.
Main groups of information are divided by a subtle difference in background.
