
Notes about this app poster:
This is proof that you don't have to do anything fancy to make an app poster effective. Until the bottom mockup, they don't overdo it with the screens. It's just a simple layout with a screen or two next to each other with a simple explanation off to the side.
I like that they mark each new section with a plant image rather than changing the background. It creates a logical flow and isn't too intrusive. I could use my iconography to do this.
I appreciate the dotted lines because I know their intent is to move your eye through the poster and connect things, but they aren't used well. The lines don't start or end anywhere, so they're just kind of distracting.
This poster could greatly benefit from a smaller text size on everything. The massive mockup of screens as the bottom is hard to follow and not at all successful. Keep it simple, stupid.
