This animation is very simple. All that's really happening is a simple layout with the screen on one side and text on the other. When the screen and text changes, the colored background slides across the page. This grabs the viewers attention. It's practically screaming, "Pay attention! Something new is happening!" I think this is an effective way to show a basic app and descriptions, but it goes too fast. You ave to give me time to actually look at it before zooming to the next screen and description.
